$33,000-Not!
December 30th, 2008 · No Comments
So the Babe wants to buy a car (only after we got T boned on the Florida turnpike and the car has $13,000 damage and the knucks won't total the 2005 Prius), and, after $13,000 in repairs, and trade in quotes of $7000, she says she wants to sell!
Oy!
I say the requisites about "diminshed value assessment" and get the money first, but she won't listen. So we go down to Hollywood Toyota in Florida. We get a quote of $7,000 for trade in and a $17,500 differential on a standard Prius with package 3 (roughly a $28,000 sticker). Bye-bye we say, and they don't negotiate one iota. No negotiation? Guess they're not interested in selling a car today.
Home to watch Dophins-Jets.
She (the Babe) goes to Lipton
