Some had purchased large term policies while they were in their working years, but those policies had expired. The idea was to obtain a large amount of coverage while children needed support and mortgages still needed to be paid. $33,000-Not!

So the Babe wants to buy a car (only after we got T boned on the Florida turnpike and the car has $13,000 damage and the knucks won't total the 2005 Prius), and, after $13,000 in repairs, and trade in quotes of $7000, she says she wants to sell! Oy! I say the requisites about "diminshed value assessment" and get the money first, but she won't listen. So we go down to Hollywood Toyota in Florida. We get a quote of $7,000 for trade in and a $17,500 differential on a standard Prius with package 3 (roughly a $28,000 sticker). Bye-bye we say, and they don't negotiate one iota. No negotiation?
